Worsening of mental health conditions

Worsening of mental health conditions

If you struggled with mental health issues before the pandemic, you might find that some of those difficulties are worse right now. You may have found yourself working under considerably more pressure, or with a much larger caseload, than normal. You may also have faced additional worry, stress and loss during these times, all of which can impact on your mental health and wellbeing.

Things that can help

While you may not have previously faced the same challenges you’re facing now, you have previously overcome challenging situations – it’s important to remember things you’ve done in the past which have helped you cope. It might be helpful to speak to your GP for further advice. It can also be helpful to speak to friends, family or colleagues if you feel comfortable enough to do so.
