Time to Talk Day 2024

How often do you say you’re alright when someone asks how you’re doing? How often are you really alright when you say it?

Thursday 1st of February is Time to Talk Day. Occurring every year, it is intended to encourage all of us to have more open and honest conversations about mental health. The theme for Time to Talk day this year is ‘what I really mean’, which highlights that what we say doesn’t always reflect how we’re feeling.

We know how hard it can be to start a conversation with someone about their mental health, but we also know how hugely beneficial it can be. That’s why we’ve put together our tips for supporting your peers. You can use these as a guide to get the conversation started.

In Scotland, Time to Talk Day is run by See Me, you can visit their website for more information, and to download Time to Talk materials for your workplace.
