Our working days can be busy and stressful. We often find ourselves juggling our ‘to do’ list and prioritising other’s needs, leaving little time for ourselves. Mindfulness is the practice of being present and fully aware of our thoughts, feelings, and sensations.
Facilitated by a Mindfulness Now trainer, these sessions will encourage you to try brief and simple techniques to find moments of peace in this hectic world.

Cognitive behavioural approaches can be an effective addition to help us cope with some of the challenging symptoms of menopause. This session will introduce participants to the links between menopause symptoms, and how we think, feel, and act.
The session will offer participants an opportunity to share some of their experiences and try some simple techniques which can help them live through the menopause.

The theme of National Wellbeing Week this year is ‘Supporting workplace culture’. We have a couple of resources related to this which may be of interest to you.
The first is a set of learning modules on Peer Support. We can all play a role in generating a supportive, inclusive environment in the workplace. Supportive environments where colleagues check in with one another can play a huge role in reducing the impact the stressful experiences have. Our peer support modules will help you understand common warning signs that someone might need support and provide you with the knowledge and skills to provide that support.
Second is our Reflective Practice Toolkit. Reflective Practice can help boost team wellbeing by providing staff with opportunities to come together with colleagues, to share and learn from each others experiences, enhancing wellbeing and strengthening teams. Our toolkit will guide you through the basics of Reflective Practice and provide an overview of what is needed to implement reflective practice groups for your staff.
