Friday 5th September, 9:30am – 11:00am
The Dumfries & Galloway ProSocial Framework has been co-developed in the Health & Social Care Partnership over the past 10 years and is used by dozens of teams to improve team culture and wellbeing.
Teams using the framework report increased collaboration, both within and between teams, improved staff wellbeing and better outcomes for service users.
This introductory session will outline the framework, demonstrate how it is used in various contexts to manage complex challenges, and attendees will be able to try-out some of the tools used.
Presenter: Dr James Lemon, NHS Dumfries & Galloway
Friday 5th September, 10:00am – 11:30am
This 90-minute interactive online workshop invites participants to reflect on the conditions that enable them to perform at their best. Presenter: Daren Nelson, Scottish Ambulance Service

Friday 5th September, 12:00pm – 12:30pm
This session takes the form of a short presentation highlighting what the NHSRF does, how it can benefit retirees or people thinking of retiring, where local branches are and to find out if there are people interested in establishing new branches.
Presenter: Lynda McKie, NHS Retirement Fellowship
The theme of National Wellbeing Week this year is ‘Supporting workplace culture’. We have a couple of resources related to this which may be of interest to you.
The first is a set of learning modules on Peer Support. We can all play a role in generating a supportive, inclusive environment in the workplace. Supportive environments where colleagues check in with one another can play a huge role in reducing the impact the stressful experiences have. Our peer support modules will help you understand common warning signs that someone might need support and provide you with the knowledge and skills to provide that support.
Second is our Reflective Practice Toolkit. Reflective Practice can help boost team wellbeing by providing staff with opportunities to come together with colleagues, to share and learn from each others experiences, enhancing wellbeing and strengthening teams. Our toolkit will guide you through the basics of Reflective Practice and provide an overview of what is needed to implement reflective practice groups for your staff.
