Friday 26th June, 9:30am – 10:30am

Join us for a 1-hour session exploring Stephen Covey’s Circles of Influence and how they can boost your wellbeing. We’ll look at where you focus your time and energy, what you can genuinely influence, and how to let go of what’s outside your control. Through relaxed reflection, you’ll uncover practical ways to feel more confident and empowered – personally, professionally, and with your team.

This session on compassionate leadership will support participants to:

• Explore some current thinking about compassionate leadership.

• Identify some key skills and behaviours that support compassionate leadership.

• Understand why compassionate leadership is important in the workplace today.

• Reflect on why self-compassion is an important component of compassionate leadership

• Have an awareness of some tools and resources to support both compassionate leadership and self-compassion

Are you about to retire from the NHS in Scotland and wondering what retirement might look like? In this session you can find out more about the NHS Retirement Fellowship, the only charity supporting retired and retiring NHS staff. Hear how membership of our charity can lead to a variety of social, educational and welfare opportunities and to remain as part of the NHS family as well as giving you access to a growing range of benefits and discounts. We will also share some tips from our current members on how to transition into retirement.

This 1-hour session highlights the importance of looking ourselves and offers a space for people to reflect on their own self care, explore some tools, and think about what small steps they could commit to, to support their own wellbeing on a more regular basis.

This workshop raises awareness of gender based violence (GBV) in health and social care, explores its impact on individuals, and builds confidence in responding to disclosures safely and compassionately. Participants will learn how to provide appropriate support and signpost colleagues to relevant services, helping to create a supportive and psychologically safe workplace.

Friday 26th June, 3:00pm – 4:00pm

Join us for a 1-hour session as we explore Self Care and Leadership through the lens of hurry and constantly being busy.
We will explore hurry and the impact on us and others, before taking the current research on spaciousness as a practice. We will then draw this together to in a practical approach to self-care which can be applied to support ourselves, our teams, and our organisational culture.

Friday 26th June, 3:00pm – 4:00pm

This 1-hour session will serve as a reminder to participants of the need to identify when their emotional, physical or mental wellbeing ‘tank’ is running low or getting drained thus leading to stress and its burnout effect as well as knowing when to refill. The exercises will be directed at helping participants identify those activities that bring connection, a sense of meaning and purpose and support for your wellbeing.

Friday 26th June, 4:00pm – 4:30pm

Finish the week with a bit of fun, friendly competition, and a chance to connect with colleagues outside of the usual day-to-day work. This relaxed Friday quiz session is all about switching off for a while, having a laugh, and boosting social wellbeing through teamwork and conversation. Expect a mix of general knowledge trivia – no pressure, no serious knowledge needed, just bring yourself and your best guesswork! Go it alone or join as a team.
