Have your say in shaping the Leading to Change programme

Leading to Change offer a range of leadership development programmes, opportunities, and support for health, social care and social work staff in Scotland. These are available to staff of all levels, in all roles, and at all stages of their professional development. To help shape and improve the Leading to Change programme, and make sure it gives staff access to the support they need, they are running a research project and are looking for staff from across health, social care and social work to share their views.

In order to fully understand your needs, the leadership development you may have already accessed and challenges you may face in participating in leadership development opportunities, they need to hear from you, the workforce, directly. There are a couple of ways you can get involved in this research, either by completing an online survey or joining a staff focus group.

The purpose of the survey is to make sure the right support is being offered to help staff develop the leadership skills and knowledge they need in their role. To complete the survey, you can follow this link. The survey will take around 15 minutes to complete, it is entirely voluntary and your answers will be completely confidential.

The staff focus groups are an opportunity for staff to share their experiences and insight so that future support is shaped around the needs and aspirations of the workforce. To sign up for one of the focus groups, you can follow this link. The focus groups will take place online on three dates across March and April, and you will be in a group with other health, social care and social work staff members. As with the survey, the focus groups will be completely confidential.
